![]() ![]() A cohort is defined as pupils leaving traditional general secondary education. ![]() The cohort analysis is an analysis of the education of a cohort of students with upper secondary school leaving certificates after graduation. Variables: Students with upper secondary school leaving certificate, status regarding education in the following years, sex, age, and which institution the student graduated from. The analysis describes the status of students with upper secondary school leaving certificates 3 months to 19 years and 3 months after graduation. The analysis includes all students with upper secondary school leaving certificates. The school has to be approved by the Department of Education. The analysis includes only students at Danish schools. ![]() The first cohort analysis was published in March 1978 with information regarding pupils who graduated in 1973/1974. Before 1973 the Ministry of Education collected the information at class level.
